I had an issue and reached out to support, and they got me sorted really quickly. Compared to other companies I’ve dealt with, this was way less of a hassle and actually felt easy.

I’ve been using a couple of Geeni plugs and a camera for a while now, and overall they’ve been solid. Setup was mostly easy, though one of the plugs just took a couple tries before it finally connected.

Performance has been good most of the time. The lights respond quickly, the camera loads okay, and the schedules usually work without me having to mess with anything. Every now and then the app is just a little slow or shows a device offline for a minute, which can be annoying.

For the price, I’m happy with it. It’s not perfect, but it just does what I need it to do most days, and I haven’t had any major issues

I picked up a couple of Geeni devices because the price seemed decent at first, but after using them for a while, I don’t feel like they were that great of a deal. The app can be slow, and some of the features are just REALLY hit or miss.
They do work sometimes, so I wouldn’t say they’re completely useless, but for the money I expected way less hassle. I’ve had to reset things more than once, which got annoying fast. Next time I’d probably just spend a little more on something more reliable.

I’m not sure if it’s just me, but the app keeps crashing right when I need to use it. It also randomly logs me out, which gets frustrating after a while. Has anyone else been dealing with this too?

I tried getting my Geeni plugs and bulbs working with Google Home and Alexa, and it was just annoying. One minute the app said everything was fine, then voice control would say the device was offline or just not do anything.

I reset stuff way more times than I should’ve had to. Maybe it works better for other people, but for me it was too messy and not really worth it

The video looks nice and clear, so no complaints there. The audio is okay too, not amazing or anything, but it does the job

The app is fine when it actually works, but my Geeni plugs keep dropping off wifi and I don’t know why. I’ve had to reset them a few times already, which gets old quick. It’s just annoying because everything else on the same wifi is working fine, so... not really sure what the issue is.

I got my Geeni stuff connected way quicker than I thought I would. The app basically walked me through each step, and I didn’t have to mess with router settings or do anything weird like that. I think it took around 10 minutes, maybe less. it just worked, which was... kind of all I needed.
